Posted by Jill on 24/9/2007 GF board
went to Bertorelli restuarant in Frith Steet, Soho on Friday. They will provide gluten free pasta, at no extra cost, for any of the suaces. The food was excellent -as was the wine and ambience. I believe they have a couple of other branches in London

Imli Posted by Emma on 15/4/2008 GF board I ate out at Imli on Wardour St in Soho on Satuday night. It's an indian tapas style restaurant which marks all of the gluten free items on its menu which makes a refreshing change - plenty of GF choices and good food at a reasonable price. www.imli.co.uk/welcome.html ******************

Afternoon tea in London Posted by AJ on 20/11/2009 GF board Had a very special afternoon tea at the Soho Hotel last week www.firmdale.com/index.php?page_ ... age_id=145. I had sandwiches (the bread was a bit dry) & cakes (yummy) made especially for me and the waiter told me -without me having to ask -that separate utensils had been used and it was prepared separately in the kitchen. The website says that wheat free bread is available but I double checked that my tea was all gluten free. ************************

Patara, Greek St, Soho Posted by Emma (London) on 25/2/2011 GF board I've eaten twice at Patara on Greek Street in Soho and had good experiences on both occasions. Whilst GF options are not marked, the menu invites you to ask waiting staff. The staff I have dealt with have been very knowledgable and happy to advise which dishes were GF / could be modified to be GF. The food is lovely, really nice atmosphere and handy location for theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue. I think they also have branches in Mayfair, South Ken and Knightsbridge. www.pataralondon.com

Went here on Friday night. The address is 1 Upper James Street junction with Beak Street. The place is amazing and they were very good with gluten free, no problems at all. Had a wonderful night.
