Stoke on trent Posted by judy(stoke) on 20/8/2013 GF board I live in stoke, there is a fish and chip shop in burslem town center opposite the George hotel that do gf fish and chips, you can eat in or take away. Also the Duke William pub in Burslem does gf but I think just in the evenings, and I heard the George Hotel in Burslem does too. In Newcastle under lyme there is a steak restuaraunt called Rare by the Queens garden, and there is a Weatherspoons in Hanley, Stoke and Newcastle. These towns are only 10 minutes drive from each other. A bit further out on the way to Leek, is The Three Horseshoes pub and bistro, they do a lovely carvery that use of gravy. There is a Toby Carvery in Trentham on the main road, they do a Gf carvery too. ... The GH fish and chip shop is called The Mother town fish and chip shop. Its open until 8.30 on Friday, I have eaten there a few times and its lovely food. *********** Posted by Karen on 21/8/2013 The Burnt Gate pub near Stoke on Trent is brilliant. www.burntgate.co.uk/special-diets/*********************************
