Local Farmers Market Posted by Sarah - Middlesex on 23/7/2005 The Farmers Market I spend the most money at :-) is the one at Beaconsfield ... which is held on the 4th Saturday of the Month. I've added a link to The Thames Valley Farmers Co-operative site which lists all the producers with contact details along with the markets that they attend throughout the month. All of the Producers are really helpful and happy to discuss their wares and I discussed GF options with a few of them (i.e the fresh Pasta man, the Pie Man etc!!) ;-) I think that the name of the Cake stall was Bakers Basket, and the lady said that, as well attending the Markets, they also sold their produce in a Shop in Wallingford. If anyone goes to the Beaconsfield Market ... it's the Stall on the corner opposite the Pie Man! ;-) The Butcher is Chiltern Farm Foods ... and I can't recommend them highly enough. I've been buying their meat for a long time and I am extremely grateful to find that they do GF stuff. The owners are really helpful and will take special orders etc., if you phone them before Market day. Not sure about the Bread Stall, as I didn't buy anything ... but it's next to the Chiltern Farm foods stall normally. Link: www.tvfm.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cgi
