Went to 'The Thatchers Arms' in Mount Bures yesterday. E.mailed a few days before I went to see if they could cater for G.F. Within 3mins I had a reply, was very impressed, was told to contact the day before and they would beable to have more on the menu. They can adapt the menu to suit a G.F diet, apart from the obvious things like pies. I had trout and saute pots, with a lovely salad, it had a lovely sharp dressing over it. Knew there was going to be a choice of sweets before I went, creme brullee, choc and orange mousse or a large choice of unusual local ice-creams and sorbets. I live in Norfolk but my family live in that area so there will be no problems with food like there has been in the past. All the staff went out of their way to make you feel at home.
