great sunday lunch in pembrokeshire
Posted by marge on 6/8/2006
just had a great sunday lunch home here in Pembrokeshire, south west wales. went to the Plas Hyfryd, (in Narberth, just off the A40 between whitland and haverfordwest) had made a reservation along with notification that i would require gf meal, arrived to find the booking had not been written into diary... but hey! they were terrific! there was a table for two laid up and the staff were gf aware, additionally the menu highlights gf and veggie. Had a gorgeous pate with gf toast, followed by a good couple of slices of roast pork, apple sauce, roasies, veggies n gravy. certainly no complaints from me (oh, actually the wine would have been better served chilled, but otherwise..)too full for desert, tho their welsh whisky (penderyn) was too hard to resist!! their phone no' is:01834 869006
