Cakes using butter beans

Chocolate Fudge Brownies:
3oz stoned dates 1 x 200g tin butter beans in water, rinsed 4 free range eggs 1 tsp GF baking powder 3oz soft brown sugar 4 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 2oz plain choc chips
Stick everything in a blender or food processor and process until smoothish. Put into a lined 20cm square tin and bake at Gas 4/180C for 25-30 mins. Cool in the tin.
Sticky maple pecan bars:
First 4 ingredients as above plus: 2 tbsp. cornflour 1 tbsp. instant coffee 2 tsp. vanilla 1oz butter
Bake in a 30x17cm tin, adding topping before baking: 2oz pecan halves 4tbsp. maple syrup 2 tbsp.soft brown sugar
Cool in tin then cut into bars.
