GF board
If you were to visit Sandringham Estate (nice grounds for the children to run around in and you only have to pay if you want to go into the house) then give them a ring 2 days before and they may be able to do something for you. When we went last year they put on a GF shepherds pie as a special. It was really nice.

Popped into the restaurant on the Sandringham country park today only to find although not advertised on the menu outside or inside that they did gluten free. I was looking at the allergy box on the main board inside and couldn't see any reference to gluten free a waitress tapped me on the shoulder and asked if she could help, I said no I was looking for something gluten free. She told me to stay there and came back with a menu, and it was almost full of gluten free options’ as we only went in for there loo I thought it would be rude not to have something, so below is my lunch all burgers are made from there own cattle and made on site. It was just fab, and I was almost too scared to eat it… moral of the post I think we need to ask more I was so prepared to walk away without asking. Free parking, and there is no need to purchase tickets for the house or gardens.

Thanks to the post I had on here I went to Sandringham estate and ate very very well!! They had a big choice in the cafe on the standard menu, no mention of gf on it tho. So I spoke to the peeps on the till who were very clued up and had a list of all the meals that were gf or could be adapted. So we settled on burgers with potato gratin and salad, gf buns were lovely. And also on a triple decker roast pork, gravy and apple sauce sarnie with salad. the order was printed gf and she went to the kitchen to confirm this too. On arrival they told us it was gf so we were confident to eat!!! It was soooo lovely. I had to thank them afterwards, a real treat. Also went to Cley marshes cafe and bird watching centre, plenty of cakes on offer. Kings Lynn tesco, great gf section. Cley smokehouse, much naturally gf smoked fish, a delight.
