Greenbanks Hotel (Norfolk) Posted by Karen (Essex) on 4/10/2004GF board Just come back from a stay at the Greenbanks Hotel in Wendling (near Swaffham) in Norfolk. The proprietor is a dietician and the food is excellent and there are many GF options on the menu. We were provided with GF toast, sausages and muesli at breakfast. We had a GF roll with dinner. We were offered a different "coeliac surprise" dessert on both evenings (as well as several GF items on the menu). If you ask nicely you can get some GF sandwiches made up for you to take away for lunch. We met a very sensitive coeliac staying there who has never had any trouble eating at Greenbanks. Also, there is a lovely swimming pool with hot tub and sauna and nice grounds. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted by Karen (Essex) on 16/8/2005, 12:44 pm, in reply to "Recommendations for eating out - Norfolk" GF board Greenbanks Hotel near Swaffham is great for gluten free (including GF bread). .....the proprietor (Jenny) is a dietitian and is very approachable so you could try giving her an email to ask (greenbanks@btconnect.com). >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. www.greenbankshotel.co.uk/ **************
