Hi, my name's Cassie or Kaci as i'm living in Bulgaria. I'm an ex civil servant and truck driver (not at the same time). Got diagnosed July 28th 2001 at Canterbury hospital after my mom was diagnosed a couple of weeks before and we had the same symptoms. I help run this message board and the main GF message board with a great team of Coeliacs. Met another Coeliac, Frank (also admin) and we lived together in Scotland before emigrating to Bulgaria and separating. I love languages, particularly Welsh and Bulgarian. I dabbled a bit in Scottish Gaelic but it was too Norweigan sounding and didn't enjoy it much. I am starting an O.U welsh beginners course this November 2011. I took up the Scottish Bagpipes and am at present studying towards my level 3 with the college of piping in Glasgow. Well, that's me. Pleased ta meetcha. Photo taken in cumbernauld xmas 2009

I work at doing as little as possible. lol This is my family: lol Niki and Kric, my babies who i'm trying to teach rude words ending in 'off' to, with 'Steve' on the end. Here's the furry buggers from hell watchin' em. Magi (black) and Mimi (Coloured) they ARE the kittys from HELL and here's my beloved Squishy from my house (i'm living in Banevo with Kraci at the mo whilst mine's being done up). and Pitch (means 'dude' in Bulgarian)

(wasn't when i found her abandoned at the side of the road). This is Terry the Turkey as a baby and this is Terry doing his first strut in January this year

Hi silly yak don't believe a word of it, quite a menagerie you have there, I have a rescue dog too. Just been out for a walk with my dog and my daughter( she had surgery on her discs on new years eve and is now excercising) and my edgy dog has threatened everything with four legs that we have passed ( shes only small) soooo embarassing.

The word for 'dog' in Bulgarian is 'kooche' like in coochy coo. lol Think it's an apt name for something so sweet. I have a passion for dogs i must admit. I miss my walkies with my mom, (with the dogs i hasten to add lol) we'd talk for hours, very theraputic.

Latest pics of my shack in Bulgaria, before and after weeding a small part of it. Before i weeded the vines: and after: and from the vines looking down, also weeded by moi, took nearly a month, there's the front garden too that's been done. Cats are Magi's babies, Rooney in the foreground, then Bandit and then Spot. Customer toilets (just bricks with plumbing in) to the left of pic and my new kitchen and bathroom to the right.

A view from the Kitchen looking up towards the vines and my kolelo (wind mill for water). My weeded fruit trees with the big bank of weeds (waiting for rain so we can burn without a village fire).

Had an enormous gale about 5 days ago and lost one of my almond trees. So i've been sawing and chopping wood for the last few days. Place is starting to look really good. Got a new addition to the furries family last night in the shape of a black kitten now called Jo (thank god it's a male for a change). It was abandoned in the village church grounds. Was mewing for literally hours with everyone walking past and ignoring so stupid, softy moi takes teh bloomin' thing 'ome. Here's a pic or two. Meet Jo
