Culross Fife, gluten free treat

This lovely little conservation village, pronounced Kooross, a few miles from the Forth Road Bridge, has a National Trust of Scotland tearoom called Bessie's Tea Room. It has several gluten free sweet treats including a cheesecake and a marvellous chocolate and orange cake that has cream cheese topping. It is basically a lovely chocolate brownie with delicious thick orange flavoured creamed icing. The staff are aware of contamination issues. Excellent coffee too. Recommended for a visit and the village is both interesting and delightful.
