GF board
........... a few general notes:
PINGO DOCE supermarkets do stock GF - usual brands such as Schar., and some nice alternatives.
McD's stock GF buns, if you use the electronic order machines you can order in English and there is a specific GF menu.
If you have access to the internet, you might find some nice surprises at local bakers especially biscuits.
I generally found restaurants understood and erred on the side of caution.
We had a few days in Lisbon and Maderia at Easter and I was more concerned than most holidays about finding sufficient so took more stocks than usual.... I brought most of it home again.................
