Just back from Amsterdam. Had a lovely Mexican meal here www.mexican.nl/eng/about_us.php the waitress was very reassuring, told me not to worry and I would be very safe eating there! Also ate at McDonalds twice (naughty I know) but I do miss it and I wish the we could do GF buns here. At the moment only 50 locations offer Gf hamburger/cheeseburger/quarter pounders and you can find out which ones by checking on the website or looking for the symbol in the window. I ate at the one nearest centraal station which was very easy to reach. The Albert Heijn chain of shops seem to be everywhere and they clearly label gluten free on their own brand products. In the larger store near the Royal Palace they had a free from section larger than any I've seen in UK supermarkets. I researched a few other restaurants which we didn't make it to including www.moeders.com/pagina.php?m=14&p=14, www.lieve-amsterdam.nl/en/restaurant/menu/allergies and www.lieve-amsterdam.nl/en/restaurant/menu/allergies
