Fish and chips new romney kent

GF board
I saw someone mention on here that the "Fish and Peri" in New Romney do GF. Google showed up a review on trip advisor also saying they did good GF fish and chips, so living only 20 minutes away we decided to give it a go. We rang in advance as nothing on their own website mentions GF. We were assured it was available all day, that the fish is cooked in the chip fryer which never contains glutenous foods, they sounded clued up. The only down side was that they don't do GF batter, only a crispy coating of ground rice/rice flour - still it was lovely and everything was cooked fresh to order. They have a large varied eat in menu as well as the take away.
This is right by our nearest seaside so at last we can do what normal people do and get fish and chips after a day out! One very happy daughter surprised on the way home tonight
