Brilliant weekend in London including lunch at completely gf restaurant. Posted by Pam, Dorset on 15/4/2014
We went up to London last weekend staying in Richmond. The Richmond Hill Hotel catered for me well with gf toast for breakfast and awareness at the evening dinner. Ate at Chez Lindsay in Richmond for lunch - an authentic French creperie where the galettes are made with buckwheat flour and are very tasty. Found gf cakes at a riverside cafe - think it was called Tide Tables, by the bridge. On Saturday we went into London and had lunch at Vozars in Brixton, which is a totally gf place in Brixton Village, a very lively cosmopolitan arcade cum market area. Very different from our Dorset village! Vozars has Wagfree stuff and Celia lager and the whole menu is gf. At lunch time the menu was a bit limited but very tasty for snacky things and cakes to die for. In the evenings it has proper restaurant food and I'd like to go back and try it. However we had theatre tickets so picked up food at Leon's which had a huge choice.... The pecan pie was memorable! Everything went well the whole weekend and I had such choice of food. There was a posh farmers market in Richmond that had gf stuff but I didn't need anything else as I'd eaten so well.....
