GF board
I have been on quite a few ski holidays to France.
If going self catered the supermarkets there have fresh food but I didn't find any 'gf alternatives' for things. I took bread, cakes, biscuits etc in my luggage. Restaurants are ok as long as you talk to them and I took a. Dietary card.
Catered I have been with ski total and crystal. This year I am going with iglu. They have all been really good with my meals. I chat to the chalet host when I first get there and make them know I would rather they ask questions if unsure! Generally you become quite pally with the host anyway so has never been an issue. They have always bought me gf bread, cereals for breakfast, made me my own cakes for afternoon tea, and have altered the dinner if necessary. Always fab! They even got me some soya milk!
For lunch up the mountain I take from England gf cereal bars, mini chocs, haribos, fruit (I get there) and normally I take a loaf of bread with me and make a sandwich at the breakfast table to take up to the slopes!
Any questions just ask. Oh and if booking catered don't forget to tell them when u book!
