....We go to the I o W for the day a few times a year, to visit members of my family. We normally have lunch at the White Horse pub in Whitwell, they have GF options marked on the menu, it's a family friendly pub.
Last year we went down for a funeral, after the cremation it was a gathering at the Woodman, Wotton. They did a plate of GF things for my husband, and had covered the plate in clingfilm, so no cross contamination issues.

I was on the island at easter and had a fantastic gf meal at The Garlic Farm. Booked in advance as Bank Hol. My biggest disappoint was a fish and chip shop in...not sure shanklin maybe which said gf on sign on window (no other details given) so i went in hopefully but not available.
