A good hospital

GF board
My son aged 17 (GF) has just been in Wythenshawe hospital Manchester for an emergency operation on his lung which collapsed (3rd collapsed lung so far the 2nd on this side). The hospital was excellent . The food was interesting, he got a special GF menu with snacks included. I took him in his own cereal for breakfast and supplemented the food with food from home. His appetite was not good due to the op and morphine mixture. What was funny was a weekend member of staff sorting out the food asked how long my son had had colic she misread the word coeliac. I was going to say 17 years but just smiled and explained. He is at home now and we are waiting for the district nurse to take out the stitches. This could not have happened at such a bad time right in the middle of his "A" level exams.
