Someone kindly posted the other week a recipe for Toblerone cake. The recipe said use Buckwheat flour, well I couldn’t find any so thought a little Doves would be the same, how wrong I was, it was awful it ended up in the bin. So this week I thought I would give it another go, as I still had no buckwheat I used ground almonds, and it worked. If you interested it only took 15 minutes max to make. I used 7oz pure the recipe said unsalted butter 5 eggs 7oz Toblerone + a little extra 2oz dark chocolate + a little extra 2oz White Chocolate + a little extra Not required 2 Tablespoons of ground Almonds Not required One tablespoon of caster sugar Not required A splash of vanilla extract Not required It’s come out very well, but if on a diet, then I really wouldn't advise.
