Asda recalls Free From 5 Caramel Wafers

Asda is recalling its Free From 5 Caramel Wafers, with a ‘best before’ date of 3 December 2012. Gluten (wheat) has been detected in some of this product, which is labelled as gluten-free. If you’re allergic to or intolerant of wheat or gluten, don’t eat this product. The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

Asda is recalling the affected batch from sale. Customers with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten are advised not to eat this product. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisation who will inform their at risk members of the recall.
