Had a lovely holiday in Suffolk last week. Had a bargain 4 night break at Warner hotel's Corton Village. Have done 3 GF holidays at Warner hotels, but this one wasn't a specific GF one. But they do cater for all dietary requirements. You let them know that you have allergies and in the morning they bring you that night's menu with dishes marked as GF. You can then choose that dish or ask them to adapt it so it's suitable for you. It's a great service. Also went to Somerleyton Hall. The tea room was full of used crockery and looked a mess and the menu was full of gluten, but the waitress did understand GF and I got something to eat. But it was so expensive, so I'd recommend taking a picnic and eating it in their lovely gardens. Southwold pier do GF fish and chips on the first Saturday of every month, but I'd gone at the wrong time. When I specificallly asked for just chips they did them for me - they were delicious. Agter paying, I noticed a GF Victoria Sponge cake on the counter, which I managed to resist, but was surprised that when I ordered the chips they hadn't pointed it out to me so that they could sell more!!
