Kate had bacon and eggs at the airport. Jet two gave us two days notice for not providing a gf meal so we carried plenty. At the resort we gave our translation card which really helped. The locals understood a bit but the card helped both us and them. They cooked Kate some sausage which wasn't on the buffet and chips separately as they were worried about cross contamination at the buffet station. They brought her some gf bread and a new butter pot and knife. All this in a tiny tiny resort in the middle of northern Finland miles from civilisation. They put us to shame. This is kates first trip abroad and i am happy. I would recommend the trip to anyone. It was not at all commercial. It felt like we were in the home of Christmas. Well done transun.!
