Ryanair have agreed to allow me an extra carry on bag for GF food.
I had to tell them:-
1. Exactly what I would be carrying in the bag.
2. The weight of the bag.
3. The dimensions of the bag.
4. They want to view a letter from my doctor when I check in.
5. They asked for the email address used when the booking was made.
6. My address.
7. The last 4 digits of the credit card number, the card being the one used when the booking was made.
They really don't make it easy but if you phone and have all the information to hand, it does help. Ryanair Tel No: 0871 2460000. (Calls are 10p per minute).

I didn't know it was possible to carry extra GF food on board. This was an old post but I flew with Ryanair this week and according to the inflight menu, even black tea or coffee now contain gluten. None of the food is GF apart from a coconut snack bar but to not even be able to have a cuppa is atrocious!
