Kenwood Pitta Bread by Lyn G » Tue Oct 03, 2006 6:02 pm
From Eileen on GF board
........I made some pitta breads to take, using the Kenwood Chef and dough hook for the first time. Well, the result is so good!
I used 1 1/2lbs Juvela mix 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons dried yeast 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum 1 teaspoon sugar
Then I slowly added warm water until the mixture formed into a dough and then kept the machine going for 2 minutes.
Roll out individual pitta bread shapes, no less than half an inch in depth. Bake at 220C for approx 10 mins. Cool on a wire rack.
