Grommet's Corned beef hash
I make it like this (to feed 2 hungry people)
Peel 3 or 4 medium sized potatoes and chop into 4. These should be smaller than you would for mashing or roast.
I then boil for ten minutes until they're just going a bit soft. Then drain, but I leave a little bit of water in the pan. Then pour in a full size tin of Heinz baked beans and a chopped up tin of corned beef. Put on a low eat and stir. The potatoes should gently break up and it should go to a mushy consistency.
It's ready.
I know some people put fried onions in.
Also if you want it to be fattening (like my daughter does) you can pat down into a casserole dish once you've mixed all the ingredients together and grate some cheese on top and put under the grill for 5 minutes.
Enjoy
