...... I have changed the Soya milk etc for normal milk and the flour for Juvela Harvest Mix.
I actually made them into muffins.
Rich Plain Sponge Cake (we called it Custard Cake)
4oz marg 3.5oz raw cane sugar 9oz Self Raising Wholemeal Flour 3 tsp baking powder pinch salt 1/2pt of custard 1/4tsp vanilla essence soya milk
Pre heat oven to 200C Melt marg and sugar and allow to cool Mix dry ingredients in another bowl Add marg/sugar mix in Add custard and essence A soft dropping consistency required so add milk if required
Pour into 2 tins 6-7" and bake for 30-40 mins
For yorkshire puddings I mix approx 3tbsp Egg replacer 5tbsp Cornflour Pinch salt Baking powder Milk until it looks the right consistency for cooking.
I did have a recipe and lost it so everything is approximate now as cannot remember exact ingredients
