Nora’s Tomato Sauce preparation time: 10 minutes cooking time: 10 minutes made in 3 easy steps equipment: - tablespoon - sharp knife - chopping board - medium frying pan - wooden spoon ingredients: (serves 2) - 7-8 ripe tomatoes - 3 tablespoons of olive oil - 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped as small as you can - bunch of fresh basil - salt and pepper Using the sharp knife and the chopping board, chop the tomatoes into small pieces. Put the frying pan on a medium heat and add the olive oil. When the oil is hot, turn the heat down slightly and add the chopped garlic. Push the garlic around with a wooden spoon so it doesn’t stick to the frying pan. Don’t let the garlic go too brown. After a few seconds, add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until the juices mix with the olive oil. Stir. Tear the basil into small pieces and throw into the sauce at the last minute, then remove from heat. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. www.noraskitchen.com/recipe.php?title=tomato_sauce&i=1*************
