Maize meal and pumpkin seed bread suitable for a bread maker by Jerry » Sat Nov 02, 2002 3:05 pm
The recipes that work best in a bread maker are ones made with a batter not a dough. The standard recipe is: 500g flour 430 ml luke warm water 1 packet of yeast pinch of salt 1 desert spoon of oil(good quality) subtitute 50g of your prescription flour for 50g of yellow maize meal add a handful of pumpkin seeds and a teaspoon of g.f. baking powder and carry on as normal! with your breadmaker. Alternatives:sunflour seeds poppy seeds also really worth trying is honey instead of sugar it works the same but gives a pleasantly diferent flavour.
