I'm getting married in Mauritius in May next year at the Shandrani Hotel, which is owned by Beachcomber. They've advised me that catering for gluten-free is no problem at all.

Just returned from Mauritius and had no problem with eating in the Hotel (Heritage golf and spa). We had however emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to explain the situation. We met the chef and one of the senior waiters would say what could and could not be eaten. They did however make a lot of their food from scratch.
Flew Air Maurtius again no problem on outward or inward flights (although were a bit wary of the crackers supplied, but they were horrible so didn't eat them anyway)
