I make pasta all the time after my son asked me for ravioli, here's the recipe I use :
Per person
100g Juvela mix
1 egg
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 tsp Xantham gum
Mix all these ingredients together ,so the dough is soft but not sticky ,chill for 15 mins in the fridge.then use so simple ....
It cooks really quickly in a large saucepan of boiling water for 3 mins ,once it bobs up to the top its cooked .
Have even brough a pasta machine as you need to roll it thinly ,works ok with a rolling pin though, when you make the ravioli stick the top and bottom together with beaten egg and out a small amount of filling in the parcels .

'susan' posted a recipe which I have got here:
3oz gluten free plain flour (Doves Farm)
¾ tsp xanthan gum
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large egg
I think susan said to work all the ingredients together, then wrap in cling film and chill in fridge for 30 mins.

buckwheat pasta recepie was same as on doves farm packet -
12oz buckwheat flour,4 eggs,1 tabsp olive oil & 1 teasp salt
work the eggs into the flour with a fork adding the oil.bring together into a ball of dough and let it rest for 10 mins.roll out thinely or pass through a pasta machine.cut into 1 inch strips.lay out to dry on a floured surface.cook for 8 mins
I added slightly more olive oil in it and flavoured it with fresh herbs so it tasted special.
I managed to get a pasta machine from Macro for £4 in a sale section so that was pure luck, but i have seen them in argos for around 15-20 so its not too bad.
I would say it is definitely worth the effort
