City Hospital in Nottingham
Posted by Helen (Notts) on 11/9/2005
I spent three and a half weeks in hospital after getting diagnosed, and I couldn't have been better looked after ...... I was in City Hospital in Nottingham and didn't have a single day without really lovely meals .......
.....I had gluten free meals as an in patient, They even had GF biscuits (glutafin digestives) on the ward in case I wanted one with a cup of tea! They had a separate toaster labelled GF only in the kitchen where no one else could use it and they also had a tub of margarine labelled up as GF only. I can honestly say they were completely on the ball and I even had the dietician coming around a couple of times a week to check on what I had been having to make sure I was getting plenty of variety. I'd love to stay in a hotel as good! *********
