Hi ,
I stayed in Pefkos via Direct Greece at the Nikolas apartments, next door over the garden is the Nikolas Taverna (of course both owned by Nikolas!), where we mostly ate, just needed to mention intolerance to gluten and they couldn't have been more helpful. We've booked again to go next year.

For somewhere that still has some of the charm that is being lost in the in the better-known spots I'd recommend Haraki. It's about 15 – 20 minutes north of Lindos ¾ mile off the main road. There are tour operator and privately let rooms – for a first visit it would be easier to book via an operator – and several excellent places to eat. For real Greek food I'd go for Zografos on the road into the village. The link goes to some photos I took there.

....Rhodes for a holiday ...we went to a place called Lardos and went self catering (just to be safe) but ate out every night! we found a lovely resturant in Lardos village called 'Opaa Taverna' and NOTHING and i mean NOTHING was too much trouble for them, they even cooked my chips in brand new oil in a seperate pan for me! I had a very wide choice of food and they even changed a few ingredients for me on some, what more could i ask for? all in all a fantastic holiday....
