Recommendation for Greece Posted by Pam, Dorset on 6/5/2017, 12:44:34 Just back from our second visit to the Sani resort in Halkidiki which is amazing. It is like a small town and the dine around deal means that you can visit lots of different restaurants and have the set menu at no extra charge or put the value towards anything on the menu. They ALL have gf menus and staff can advise on the set menu which was always brilliant. The staff are incredible and very well trained in gf - one day at the beach bar they suggested that the lunchtime 3 mini burger platter could be done partly in gf rolls and partly normal so my husband and I could share( it is enormous ) and it came carefully separate. There are different gf breads - mostly lovely, though I did have to remind one place to warm it up, but also that ghastly thin sliced brown rice bread which I'm sure NO coeliacs actually like! However they will happily find you a nice one instead. The holiday isn't cheap but here are good deals to be found at the beginning and end of season and I can honestly say it is one of the best places we've ever stayed and after 20 years of coeliac travelling, the best for gf food. www.sani-resort.com/en_GB
