Perhaps you will eat out whilst there? I was in Munich last year with my 4 year old and, after getting advice from this message board, he had Bratwurst and chips a couple of times and was fine. They don't seem to use rusk in German sausages and seem to only deep fry chips, so the oil isn't used for other things. Have a great time!
