I thought others might be interested to know that I visited our local ASK restaurant to see if, if they were given warning, they would cook pasta/pizza base I supplied them. They said they couldn't due to health and safety rules (which sounded reasonable).
Consequently, I wrote to ASK HQ to ask if they would consider stocking GF/WF pasta and pizza bases. They wrote back - almost by return(!) - to say they had considered it but decided not to due to low demand BUT that if I take in my own, they will cook them (a lot of the pizza toppings/pasta sauces are GF). SO, if you fancy being able to join in with everyone else eating out on pasta or pizzas, take along your own to your local ASK restaurant (the more of us who do so, the more they'll get the message and cater for us...
).
