Liverpool, Merseyside
Went to see Peter Kay in Liverpool tonight , ate at www.everyman.co.uk/.
They are able to advise on which dishes are GF and have a wide variety of Veggy dishes too.
Had Squash and Coriander Soup followed by Pork Dijons with Rice.
Food could only be described as "okay" but the veggy with us was in paradise. The first time I've ever seen here spoilt for choice.

From Everyman Bistro re GF food & GF veggie,
good to know the General Manager is coeliac :

Thanks for your enquiry. About half our 'main meals' menu is vegetarian but some dishes contain pasta. However we would normally have something like vegetable curry, greek salad etc. Our menu changes twice a day so, if possible, it is best to ring before you come and find out what's on.
We always have a good range of salads available and we try to have t least two gluten free options in the desserts. I am a coeliac myself so I do nag the chefs!
If you would like to discuss in more detail please don't hesitate to call me on 0151 709 0249.
Best wishes

At Liverpool airport they didn't have the GF sandwich, but managed to get a choc chip cake after asking. The guy wanted to unwrap it for me (he'd just taken it out of a box in the fridge), but I explained to him I wouldn't buy it if he did cause of any cross contamination. Gave him a bit of a talking to about using the same tongues etc, he was really interested about it and said he'd check in the future. Another one educated!!
BTW, the choc slice is MUCH better than the Cafe Nero one, which I found really dry with a strange aftertaste. It's moist and tastes very chocolatey
