Legoland
posted by Karen GF board
If you email LegoLand via the wedbsite re GF it all sounds very promising but in practice they don't have a clue (in our experience). The best they could do was to show us the packets so that we could read the ingredients for ourselves! We take a packed lunch and have a jacket potato from the restaurant at the top on the way out. They do Magnum ice creams throughout the park. We risked a burger without the bun from the BBQ place near to the Gold Mining once because the burgers were supposedly "100% beef". (We took our own buns). The chips seemed to be in seperate fryers and seemed to be non crispy (i.e. hopefully no flour coating). Our coeliac does not have an immediate reaction to gluten (he gets a slow build up of symptoms) so I can't comment on how safe this really was. Perhaps you can ask them and have more success (it's another year on...) Most food places and stalls are pizza, pasta or burgers, donuts or pretzels. They do more salads at the big restaurant by the Harbour. Our tip is to eat your packed lunch whilst watching one of the puppet shows (near the Toddler's Driving School) or during one of the Stunt Shows (by the harbour). Good luck. It's certainly fun there even if the food side of things isn't always.

Legoland Posted by Andy on 23/4/2012 GF board When we went last year the Sub station (now Baguette Bar) did GF paninis. The Knights Table did Jacket Potatoes and chicken, Email them www.legoland.co.uk/Plan/FAQ/Dietary-Requirements/ ********************************************************* LEGOLAND Windsor is located at Winkfield Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 4AY **************************************** Legoland Posted by Karen on 23/4/2012 GF board Yes email them. They are pretty good. Queues can be long and prices are usually high though. Also restaurants close early and can't always be relied on for tea. Consider taking a packed lunch. You can leave it in a locker at the top or take it around with you. You can put a rucksack by your feet in many rides or leave on the ground where you get on and pick it up when you exit. Leave drinks and snacks (or tea) in the car for the return journey. Be prepared for a very long (30 minutes plus sometimes) queue out of the car park and down the long entrance road
