The Checkers supermarket in ST Brelade also do some gluten free items. I ate out last month without any problem at The Boat House, The Oysterbox, Castle Green Pub (which is the one Apricot mentioned in Gorey)and The Green Olive in St Helier. ....................................................................................................... Posted by Eileen (Bristol) on 23/2/2003, in reply to ‘Jersey’ (GF board) ......if you want to visit an excellent restaurant try De La Poste, which is near the centre of town, on the triangle. They serve really fresh fish, etc. and DO listen to your GF requests! They get very busy at night so we go around 7ish.

Re: Jersey tips
Posted by Eileen on 22/7/2005GF board ....My favourite restaurant in Jersey is De La Poste, which is near the main P.O. Although items are not marked GF on the menu, they are usually very careful to ensure your food is safe.
As for tips, I would take GF bread and crackers with you, just in case.
Generally, Indian restaurants are ok for CD'ers, as long as we avoid the naan bread, etc......
