Flackley Ash Hotel & Restaurant Nice Hotel Posted by Maggie on 2/9/2006 Went away for a last minute bank holiday weekend and didn't even ask beforehand if diet was OK - didn't care if I had to eat crisps all week-end just had to get a break! It turned out wonderful. Was a nice hotel, said I could have anything on main menu as they didn't use thickeners and they pointed out what I should avoid in the starters. Had things I haven't eaten for years - heaven! and breakfast cooked separately. Swimming pool, beauty treatments, sauna, gym etc. www.flackleyashhotel.co.uk Had full roast dinner without the yorkshire. They make gravy with cornflour. I usually can't eat this as I have bad teeth (poor old girl!!)and it is usually too tough (spelling?). Lamb with fancy bits, also usually too tough. They even cooked my morning bacon twice, just to make sure it was OK. Soup for starters and merangue/fruit/cream for desert Flackley Ash Hotel & Restaurant Peasmarsh near Rye East Sussex TN31 6YH Tel: 01797 230651 Fax: 01797 230510 E-Mail: enquiries@flackleyashhotel.co.uk
