we went to Kefalonia (a greek island) last year, my first gluten free holiday abroad, and had no problem eating out or at the hotel because there were always tasty dishes to choose from that were obviously made from gluten free ingredients like meat, veg, fruit etc without having to ask although i mentioned to our hotel and they were very helpful. i didn't take any bread in my hand luggage but took other food without any problem and that was even when the foot and mouth was happening so i would be amazed if you have any problem. hope you have a great time.
