Ace B & B in Flamborough Posted by Jon Evans on 28/7/2010
Hi Guys,
Just want to let you know about a little gem of a place we stayed in last week for 2 nights - It's called "Crab Pot Cottage" in Flambouough 4 miles from Bridlington - 100% GF friendly (the owners daughter is a Coeliac) - had a full English - with GF bread & a local GF Muffin + GF Sausage - was full until about 6-7 PM (just enough space for Ice Cream)!!
The room we stopped in was large, there was off road parking - a great little pub that did a few GF meals is just across the road.
Must also mention the couple who own it called Richard and Caroline - really friendly and couldn't be helpful enough - we will cerainly be going back.
The cost was £70 for the room inc Breakfast x 2 nights.
10/10
Jon

Bridlington Posted by Gareth ...on 7/4/2012 GF board Had a really nice g/f meal in Bridlington today, in the Rowan Tree Cafe. It is on Regent Terrace, right behind the Wetherspoons pub, and almost facing the sports centre. We all had the cheeseburger, out daughter (who is the coeliac) also had bacon on hers (on g/f bread). She also had a g/f dessert too. The cafe has a web site, www.rowantreebridlington.co.uk Unfortunately, also in Brid, the marriners restaurant, near the harbour car park, is no more. They used to do good g/f fish and chips, so will have to find another chippy in Brid where our daughter can eat *********** From Tracey on 8/4/2012 ..... There is a chip shop called Fishandchips at 149 on Marton Road, it is a takeaway and they provide gluten free fish and chips. There is also another cafe called The Little Organic Bakery, 12 Wellington Road, Bridlington, YO15 2BG. They also provide gluten free food. ..... *********** ..........

Little Indulgence Cafe and gf ice cream, Bridlington Posted by Bobby S on 25/8/2014 Gf board Little Indulgence Cafe 30 Queen Street YO15 2SN Bridlington Phone 07473 338799 www.facebook.com/pages/Little-Indulgence-caf%C3%A9/1536807973209502?rf=504781222968968 Came across this place today. They have a gluten free menu with main meals, breakfast, sandwiches, paninis and cake (three to choose from today). I had the hunters chicken and also a piece of carrot cake to take away, and both were good. They are in the road behind the harbour. ... There is also an ice cream shop in the row of cafes/food places down by the harbour which has a sign with about 20-30 flavours, which says they are all gf. Sorry, forgot to make a note of the name.

Just wanted to introduce my designated gluten free cafe. The Wish Cat Cafe on Regent Terrace was previously The Rowan Tree and is completely gluten free. Homemade cakes, quiches, pasta dishes, soups Tec. Lovely brunches including dishes such as eggs Benedict and bacon and maple syrup pancake stacks. The food is delicious whether you are coeliac or not so everybody is happy! Most of our customers so far have not been coeliac but the reviews and feedback have been excellent. I know this is shameless advertising but I just want people who require or want a gluten free diet to be aware of us.

The Wish Cat Cafe, Bridlington - great for gf food Posted by Bobby S on 15/3/2017, 23:12:23 I visited this cafe for the first time today, as it came up in a Google search for somewhere gf to eat in Brid. Very impressed. I had a cheese and ham toastie and lemon meringue pie (yes!) but there are a lot of other choices including vegetarian and vegan options. You can have gluten-containing bread if you want it but they have gf bread too and everything else is gf. Nice to find somewhere else where gf is normal! It's a little hard to find as it is up a side street just off the sea front, but there is a map on their website. The Wish Cat Cafe 6A Regent Terrace Bridlington YO15 2PD Phone: 01262 675639 Email: Anne@thewishcatcafe.co.uk Website: www.thewishcatcafe.co.uk/ Note: I think their opening days and times vary a little depending on the season "At The Wish Cat, we are focused on providing mouthwatering food and drinks that happen to also be gluten free. There is no compromise in taste or quality and if a meal or cake does not compare favourably with its gluten containing counterpart then it doesn't go on the menu. We do offer a choice between gluten free bread and regular bread but everything else on the menu is gluten free so along with some vegetarian and vegan options it means everybody can find a delicious meal to suit their needs"

Bridlington guest house providing gluten free breakfasts Posted by Tracey on 7/4/2017, 14:45:41 Hi The Richmond guest house in Bridlington provides gluten free breakfasts, the landlady has a separate toaster and has butchers gluten free sausages, bread and cereal, she can also cater for dairy free (she makes her own almond milk) and also is very knowledgeable about vegetarian and vegan. Thought this might be helpful for anyone going to Brid this summer richmond-guesthouse.co.uk/facilities.html
