For anyone visiting Beverley then try the Poppy Seed Cafe at 13 North Bar Within (opposite St Mary's Church) Tel: 01482 871598.
They do Gluten Free cakes (usually chocolate roulade, orange & polenta cake and a lemon cake.) Their salads are pretty much GF and they have never minded me asking questions.
There is also a Cafe Nero in the Marke Place for chocolate brownies and chocolate mousse.

... Smorrebrod down Well Lane does a gluten free menu. My friend is also coeliac and although I haven't been, she has told me that The Woolpack pub near Westwood does gluten free food if you ask, as does Akash (Indian restaurant in the centre of Beverley). Lazaat also do gluten free food but thats near cottingham.....

Tickton Grange, Beverley Posted by Pat (York) on 24/10/2011, 9:52:34 Had a really lovely lunch at Tickton Grange yesterday. No problems at all with eating gluten free. They had GF bread rolls, GF Yorkshire puddings and with my pudding, instead of the shortbread on the menu they put honeycomb. Yum! So good we've booked to go on Boxing Day. www.beverleyticktongrange.co.uk

Atrium Cafe Beverley

I'm still looking for nice places to eat in Beverley. Yesterday a friend came to visit and we had lunch in The Atrium Cafe on Cross Street. It was lovely. Quite a simple little place but very friendly. They do baked potatoes with a huge choice of fillings, GF sanwiches, toasties and a good choice of GF cakes and traybakes.
Well worth a visit if you're visiting Beverley.
