Obviously I can't speak nation-wide but I certainly know that the California Fried Chicken & Pizza shops in the Poole and Bournemouth area do chips that are cooked GF. They have theor own frier that nothing else goes in and they always use the same fries which are GF.

Wetherspoons in Poole Town Centre and on the Quay can do gf chips and can cater for Coeliacs on their curry nights. Pizza Hut at Tower Park will do gluten free pizza if you take a base in. You can eat in or take away but as all their toppings are safe, there's no need to worry one way or the other. Last time I got pizza there, they only charged £2.00! ….

GF toastie in Poole Posted by Pam, Dorset on 16/1/2010 GF board I've just been to try out the Courtyard Tearooms in Poole. They have Genius bread available for sarnies and toasties. It is near the Quay just off the old High street. Details: 48a High St, Poole BH15 1 BT. www.thecourtyardgardens.co.uk. I'd been told they have cakes but no luck today -very out of season - but I intend to work on them! A good alternative now LopLop has closed down.

Another place to eat in Poole Posted by Pam, Dorset on 23/1/2010 GF board Just been and had a super lunch at the Guildhall Tavern in the old town. Very French, lovely food and menu marked gf. I had gf toast with my pate. Very amenable staff who said most things are cooked from scratch so can be adapted if not gf. Good 3 course lunch menu for £13 but a lot more expensive a la carte and evening. Fish a speciality but plenty meat and a veggie choice.Details : www.guildhalltavern.co.uk15 Market Street Poole, BH15 1NB 01202 671 717 ...
