North Cornwall - report back!

Just had 3 nights close to Tintagel. Stayed in a small hotel, which did have a restaurant but didn't use this. I chose to only have fruit for breakfast, so can't comment on the cooked breakfast or toast.
There seemed to be a lot of places offering gluten free and I ate very well! I get very anxious about eating out, and have been suffering with depression and anxiety recently, but whether it was due to the medication I am on to control the anxiety, I was more adventurous than normal. (I am very sensitive and have a gluten upwards reaction within 2 hours!)
Toby Jug cafe in Boscastle - I had a cream tea, 2 scones with lots of clotted cream and jam, very nice! They have a GF menu.
The Tintagel Arms in Tintagel - we ate here all 3 nights, they were very good and clued up,nothing GF marked on menu but they went to check with the chef each night, had a beef and vegetable curry, which had pineapple in, and was delicious, and had salmon in a butter and saffron sauce, buttered minted new potatoes, asparagus and 3 other veg - really really good, and in fact, had this 2 nights!
Rojana's In The Square, Padstow - thank you to Ali for recommending this place. We had coffee here on Saturday to escape the rain, and the waiter explained that they made their own gluten free rolls and pizza bases, they also can do GF pasta. We then went back on Sunday lunchtime, and I had a ruby red burger in a GF bun with skin on skinny fries - this was huge! It was the most fantastic thing I have eaten out since being diagnosed 10 years ago, totally recommend, and they were really clued up.
Finally ate in the Tintagel Kitchen, for lunch yesterday, they offer GF but not anything bread based, the owner explained that they have tried but did not sell enough to make it viable, which as a small business I could understand, but they did have a few options and I had a 5 bean mixed chilli on a jacket potato, could also have had this with rice. They also had a very nice looking chocolate cake but I refrained! They had sold out of a GF avocado and courgette cake, which I may have had to have tried out of pure curiosity!
As an aside, everywhere was really dog friendly - we had gone away having unexpectedly lost our dog 2 weekends ago, to try and break our routines. We have never seen so many dogs and it was lovely to see, they were plenty of cafes and attractions that welcome dogs.
