GF board
just returned from a stay at CP in Holland (miles cheaper than the uk ones and better I would say) our vip cottages got free bread delivered every day which is fine if u like that horrid thing called gluten but no good for us with better taste! so we spoke to them and in place of the normal bread every day they delivered gf goodies for us. we had 2 types of bread each day along with cinnamon biscuits and Belgian waffles. very good service. the shop was not huge but had a good selection of bread, cakes, biscuits, choc bars, cereal. labelling on normal items was easy to negotiate too. ok so the stuff wasn't cheap but we could have eaten easily self catering without going off the site (we took a boot load of grub just in case they had nothing!! typical!) (another post to follow about other shopping)
city europe at eurotunnel Posted by Emma on 31/5/2014
went to Carrefour at city Europe. easy to shop, labelling clear and had a very good stock of gf stuff. got lovely melba toasts, baguettes, cakes and biscuits, cereal, cake mixes, pasta (some in the gf aisle and some with the regular stuff too. had schar and garble brands mostly and some Carrefour own brand too. barilla senza glutine pasta as well in the normal aisle. spent a fortune. luckily I had saved a small fortune at The Wine Warehouse where every lovely bottle was wonderfully gluten free of course and cheap as chips!!
