Age at diagnosis

My 93 year old father has just been diagnosed ! He is very independent and pretty fit - still drives, and plays golf but had become frailer and lost weight(though he denied it) and blood tests showed he was anaemic and low in B12, so I said he should be tested for coeliac. His GP was very sceptical and said it would make medical, history if he was and the test came back positive! He is waiting for a referral to a gastroenterologist in his area. Obviously I can help him get the diet sorted but other family members wonder if it's worth it at his age. I am also asking a local to me consultant what he thinks. Anyway, I just wondered whether dad is the oldest to!be diagnosed or do you know someone older?
