I am told that Wok and Wine (57a Frederick Street, Edinburgh. EH2 1LH) is still in operation but have not been able to clarify this as yet. It was excellent so perhaps someone might check and report back. It had a huge GF menu.

Robbie Burns Birthplace Museum, Murdoch’s Lone, Alloway, Ayr. KA7 4PQ - large cafeteria offers wonderful GF soups, gluten free bread, main courses as well as homemade GF brownies and shortbread, both wrapped in cellophane and on the top shelf. Overall a very good place for us.

Right beside the museum this hotel is part of the Costley Chain which is great for GF. I ate here and the food is good. Lovely hotel but you may need to park in the museum car park and walk as parking is very limited.
