Tapas at Cafe Andaluz Edinburgh

GF board
This restaurant on George St was good for GF. It may have been mentioned on here before. A lot of the menu choices are marked GF and the quality was good and portions more generous than La Tasca. They also had GF desserts such as creme brulee which was absolutely enormous, at least 3 times bigger than is normally served elsewhere! I could not finish it which is a rare occurrence. I ate from a menu offering 3 dishes and a dessert for £15.95. I didnt share for obvious reasons and with a table containing 19 servings of food in a small area it paid to be careful to protect mine from accidental contamination as not all was GF. Overall it was enjoyable and relatively good value.

I've been there a couple of times and they have catered for a group of coeliacs both times - it was delicious

Although it is a while since I have been there the lunch menu was excellent.

Never have had a bad reaction here and I love the lunch menu but too much food for me. Wish they could provide a good GF bread as it is torture watching others dip their bread into the olive oil.
Yummy food but not recognised as true "tapas" by Spanish friends!! Certainly does not resemble the tapas I have eaten in Spain but I'm not complaining. It is GF, healthy and tasty!

Yes, it's good, isn't it? The lunch menu is particularly good value.
