Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons Posted by Lara on 11/7/2012 GF board I know it's very expensive and it was a one off treat (until the next time anyway!) but I had lunch there yesterday and it was superb. Not only am I coeliac but I'm also veggie and don't like nuts, olives and asparagus! They catered for me very well and discretely and I didn't have to remind them of any of my requirements at all. Even the sun came out and we managed to have a walk in the gardens after lunch. It was a wonderful day Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Church Road, Great Milton, Oxford, OX44 7PD www.manoir.com/web/olem/le_manoir.jspPosted by CJ on 11/7/2012 Good to hear you had a good time! I was treated there once and couldn't believe my luck! I had my own plate of canapes, all unique and hand-made, great soup, main course, dessert and THEN the individual hand-made chocolates decorated with gold leaf (!?) on a separate plate to the others' chocolates, all for me (about 8 of them!!!). The only thing wrong was the flat slices of bread they gave me with the soup. I had to watch the others pick from a beautiful basket of every kind of bread roll you can imagine...and back then I think I was being given 2 slices of bought tacky gf loaf...I hope they've improved on the bread front! But, everything else more than made up for it. *******************
