GF cafes, Cornwall Posted by GFT on 3/7/2012 GF board .... I was in Falmouth recently and you can buy gluten-free pasties at Oggy Oggy, The Pasty Company. Rick Stein has gluten-free fish and chips and in fact they told me they could do anything on their menu gluten-free: www.rickstein.com/Rick-Stein%E2%80%99s-Seafood-Bar,-Falmouth.html Courtyard Deli has gluten free foods: courtyarddeli.wordpress.com/courtyard-arts-cafe/ Bistro De La Meer also do gluten-free foods: www.bistrodelamer.com/menu.asp Eating gluten-free in Falmouth should not be a problem at all ************* Posted by Sue ...mad Hatters do gluten free pasties, quiches, lasagne, cream teas and toasted sandwiches and more. Well worth a detour on the way home - only 5 mins into town from the A30. Treleavens, the ice cream makers has just started making gluten free pasties. They are based in Tintagel and also a branch in Looe, but a bit far from St Ives. The Honeypot has great gluten free options in the centre of Penzance. Don't know if it is just open in the day. Went there a couple of years ago, hope it's still open. Think there's a good bakery in St Ives and believe there is a good fish and chip shop in Carbis Bay (sorry can't remember the name). You may get a gluten free pasty also in a health food shop made by Baked To Taste (from Devon). These are sold in a lot of garden centres and health food shops. I like them. www.the-madhatters.co.uk/***************** Derek on 3/7/2012 Becks of Carbis Bay near St Ives is a greast fish and chip restaurant where gf is no problem. ***************
