TOO MEAN TO BUY A LOAF?

With respect you have your figures all wrong, and have jumped on the band wagon with all the rest of the journalists out to hound Coeliacs and portray us as spongers. Get your figures right. How much do you pay for a loaf in the supermarket? I bed it's not £2.50 a loaf like we have to pay. Bet you can get all the cheap food too. We can't, we have to pay top dollar to find food without wheat/rye/barley/oats in or we slowly die like 2 of my family members. (it's genetic) this means that normally AT LEAST one family member has this serious and incurable condition. Whilst the NHS has been stupid enough to pay large pharmacutical companies up to £40 a prescription item in ADMIN CHARGES (THE REAL RIP OFF) and not just for gluten free bread either. I am pretty sure you've handed in at least one prescription during your lifetime as have most people in the UK. Every time you do this you put the same burden on the NHS whilst it's not investigated and PUT RIGHT. Stop picking on Coeliacs, we're trying to sort the problem out and alert the rest of the country as to what's going on and what can be done about it. We have a hard enough time as it is being alienated and made to feel different every time there's a 'works do', every time we get on a plane and have to watch everyone else eat. Every time we have to plan our meals days in advance when travelling. Try going Gluten/wheat free for a week and see how easy it is to eat out. It's a medical and social nightmare. The bread neads to be eaten before you tell us all how 'amazing' it is. Try it, we have to eat this for life or we could die. Get it?
Whilst the NHS is handing out Methadone and nicotine for addicts (remember the admin charges for these too) i don't see why we are picking up the flack because the NHS is incompetent. Get your facts right.
